Got a call from Dr. Rag who said he reviewed the questionnaires and that our deductibles would be $8,300 per person because of someone’s pre-existing condition.

Pre-existing means that something is wrong with you already, hon. Did you tell them about any surgeries? Anything from terminating pregnancy to mental-health stuff could be counted as pre-existing. Deductible is what you have to pay before the insurance kicks in, and $8,300 is unheard of. It almost sounds like a joke.

OK let’s tone it down Nick and everyone take a deep breath. Is anyone willing to talk openly here about their medical conditions they may have reported on their form? Perhaps someone made a mistake in mentioning their previous illnesses?

As the collector of these forms I had the ability to read them but I refrained from doing so. I also will not reveal my pre-existing conditions if I had any.

As you all know I have a ¼ inch flesh tunnel in my left earlobe and I attached this picture of it to my questionnaire because it asked for any photos that I wanted to submit.
If they are counting that as pre-existing condition then that is straight-up racist. Case closed.

You are white, Nick. Plus I doubt that would be it. For an $8,300 deductible we would have to be talking about something major such as a major organ disease, history of abortions or God forbid AIDS.
