| Job Title: Office Manager
Favorite movie: “Fried Green Tomatoes” Favorite book: Fried Green Tomatoes Favorite food: Jenny Craig’s General Chow’s Chicken
About Me … I have been office managing since winter of 1986, when I left McGrady Business Institute of Technology. I have never regretted my career decision, which has led me to some amazing opportunities, including running the operations of Taussi Pool Supply and managing the entire Physics Department at Garabondine Community College.
I am a pretty traditional person: baking, gardening, going to movies. My biggest turnoff? Gossip. I have seen it tear apart companies (The Tire Shed in Monmouth, NJ. Ask me about it).
I have had my share of stumbling blocks, and I owe a lot of who I am today to an amazing personal success program called Qi Chain, a 11-tool psychological key chain. “Ask me where your keys are.”™
I may seem quiet, but I am a people person at heart (everyone is invited over to my townhouse to watch Dancing With the Stars on any Tuesday that you are okay not smoking or wearing your shoes inside. It would be better not to bring companions for now.)
I have been diagnosed as an emoto-scrivener, which means that I doodle to help me relax and focus. So if I am doodling in a meeting, or while you are talking to me, that doesn’t mean I’m not listening. It’s just that I’m too bored to be able to focus without doodling. This is also why I have disabled license plates.
I’m 46, and I’ve lost 17 pounds this year. Please support me in losing another 13 pounds. So, when I bring in my PeabutCoCs (Peanut Butter Chocolate Oatmeal Clusters), you must eat them!
I have been married to my husband, Gerry, for 28 years. He runs a sports memorabilia store in the ShoreCrest Shopping Center.
We have one 19 year old son, Jerrit, who is in the Merchant Marines.
A couple more things about me: I’m a golf-aholic, and a recovering alcoholic. I’m really looking forward to working with you all this year!
